Our authors
When someone dares to venture into uncharted worlds, into the hidden, concealed, buried, or forgotten, then these authors and their books belong to the WORTPALAST. We are proud and grateful that we have already been able to attract so many authors who perfectly bring to life our vision of a new literary diversity in the "Dark Contemporary" genre, an international, world-cultural flavor.

Thomas Stefflbauer
Thomas has been writing short stories and novels for ten years ("Faxed – Dystopia Berlin, 2021 & "Hands Don't Lie," Fall 2025). He is one of the two founders of WORTPALAST.

Thilo Mutter
Thilo is one of the WORTPALAST founders, has been writing short stories and haikus for eight years, and this year is publishing his first novel, the Prague crime novel "Mr. Volansky Goes on the Prostitute."

Dr. Zuzana Říhová
Zuzana Říhová is a literary scholar, award-winning author, and professor at the PSCC Prague. Her Kafka novella "The Secret of Metamorphosis" was published in German this year by WORTPALAST.

Sepp Baumeister
As a copywriter for a renowned advertising agency, Sepp has been a wordsmith for decades. He is currently working on a novel and has published several short stories in WORTPALAST.

Christoph Baer
The founder and director of textcollective Berlin is the "patron saint" and spiritual father of WORTPALAST. He writes short stories and works as an editor and literature lecturer.

Helma Fries
Helma is the founder and director of the Berliner Kompagnie, a renowned political theater company, for which she has written nearly 50 plays. She has contributed several stories to the WORTPALAST collections.

Tobias Schmidt
Tobias is an experienced journalist and author of wonderful short stories. Some of these can also be found in the WORTPALAST collections. He is currently working on several novels.

Angela Rieger
Angela not only works as a copywriter and experienced proofreader, she has also contributed to the WORTPALAST portfolio as a wonderful narrator of short stories and poems.

Mariana MB Borges
Among our young authors is Brazilian Mariana, who, with subtle smugness, recounts the development of full lips and, incidentally, describes a murder. Mariana also manages the English-language blog at WORTPALAST.

Rebecca Wayth
If time could stand still, Rebecca Wayth would be the author who could fill entire books with this subject. Is there a genre called nanoliterature because the precision of the most detailed observations is disturbingly real and yet as fascinating as an advanced chemistry set? If not, Rebecca invented it with her short stories and poems in GROWING PAINS .

GS Quinn
GS Quinn is one of our youngest authors, whose complex stories are multi-layered, profound, and always a bit dark. She also works as an internal colleague at WORTPALAST and demonstrates her sensitivity for good literature by editing and maintaining our web blog.

Franz Ratte
It's rare for a Berlin author and comedian to demonstrate his talent for dark humor with absurd short stories, thus writing himself into the spotlight at WORTPALAST. Franz Ratte manages to do this, but encounters with the public are abysses he prefers to avoid.
